The vibes contained within this tune right here!!! This is the first track from Music is Remedy favourite Lizzie Nightingale’s latest project with producer Moods. The production just has you bopping your head from start to finish and Lizzie is sounding just awesome. I have had a sneak peak of the rest of the project and there is a lot more of this goodness to come keep your ears open for it!!!
This week sees the release of longtime Music is Remedy favourite Nightingale and Canadian talent Slakah The Beatchild’s combined EP “Transition”. The pair draw on old soul fused with a contemporary twist for the EP with Slakah taking lead on production whilst Nightingale’s stunning vocals dominate every track. 5 quality tracks my favourite being the one below “Back To Where You Started” which I think best shows what they are trying to do with this project blending old and new. Their are some lovely moments including the awesome vocal harmonies on the break down and of course i’m going to be raving about the horn section at the end too.
I first featured this track a month or so ago now BMP and Lizzie Nightingale gave their first performance of the brilliant “Home” a couple of weeks back at I Luv Live. The live Drums and Bass from The Remedies give the track a new dimension whilst Lizzie’s vocal is as powerful and gorgeous as always. More please.

Not sure what to describe this sound as but I know I like it… a lot. Production and songwriting duo Boys Playing Music aka BPM team up with longtime Music is Remedy favourite Lizzie Nightingale to bring us the title track from their forthcoming EP “Home”. Reminiscent of the sounds of Jessie Ware this is a slice of elctro alt soul at its best. Quality sounds. Look forward to hearing the full EP.

This is what you get when England, Scotland and Canada come together on a track. Kaleem Taylor jumps on this beat from the new Slakah The Beatchild mix tape that is due to drop through BBE and No Help No Handouts later this month. Kaleem as always with his silky smooth voice sounds quality over the beat and is accompanied by the one of our favourite ladies Lizzie Nightingale who adds a female flava to the track.
She performed this cover a couple of weeks ago at Remedy Raw and got quite a reaction and it appears her performance last Sunday @ We Play Music Live was just as good. Flawless beautiful vocal from Lizzie as always. If you haven’t already checkout her EP “Tiny Teardrops” free to download now.
