The peeps at We Plug GOOD Music bring you their summer edition of One Mic down in Camden and as always they have assembled another line up of sheer quality. Featured on the night music from Dionne Reid, Chantelle Nandi, Ki Project and spoken word from Ola The Poet, Carol Ohemaa and Jodi Anne [...] Had the pleasure last week of working sound down at Writers Block the bi-Monthly night that has been running at The Juno Bar for the last 2 years! With Valentines around the corner it was an event filled with passion fuelled performances. Jodi Anne Bickley a poet we are feeling big time at the mo [...] Saw this lady perform at a Poejazzi event a couple of months ago and loved this piece. She has a lovely warmth and tone reciting her love story and the soundtrack it blossomed listening to. I can’t help but smile and think of my own. Look out for Miss Jodie… |
