A really enjoyable acoustic Get Lifted Session featuring Riccy Mitchell. A catchy chorus with some nice chord choices too. Riccy’s vocal is also sublime adding to the sweetness of the song and performance. Its the kind of track that you will love more and more with every listen so do just that listen and enjoy.

Shout outs GetLifted as always.

Love this keys led version of Iman’s “Golden”. Its got a nice funky groove to it and Iman’s vocal has some fire to it that I can’t say I’ve picked up on when listening to the recorded version. Definitely gives the track a whole new feel which is quality. Get out and see this girl live real soon.

Shout outs to Get Lifted on another quality feature.

I’m a sucker for a killer vocal and piano duet and this is one of those. Back in the day when I could still stomach watching X Factor I remember this guy leaving an impression on me and judging from this performance Paije Richards vocal has developed really well over the years. There is a power and grit to his voice that is defining and grown. Its different and a joy to listen to. I hope there is more to come from him a clear and welcome talent for the British music scene!

Shout outs as always to the Get Lifted Team.

Iman gives us another fine display of her superb vocal ability as she takes on this cut from the latest Rhianna album for her Get Lifted session. I love keys and vocals sessions they can always be so powerful if you get it right and they did a great job here. Stellar vocal performance as always.

Big up Get Lifted if you haven’t already subscribed to their channel do so here.

Latest video from the Get Lifted Team is a slice of classy old skool Anita Bakeresuqe Soul that drifts ever so closely to Jazz but not quite enough to call it Jazz. Gorgeous vocal complimented by a band who go easy on the playing to let Natlia Kafka’s vocals just shine. Sublime quality as always from the Get Lifted crew.

It does’t take long for Tamiah to take it up a notch and deliver her outstanding vocal ability on this Get Lifted session. Beautifully set in a church (acoustically as well as visually a nice touch) you can tell that this is raw and strong talent with plenty of good years in front of her if she continues in this fashion. Lovely fresh talent.

Shout out and salute as always Get Lifted TV.

Aaahhhh 2 minutes 25 seconds of sheer acoustic beauty. Get Lifted drop their first session of 2016 and it is a real beauty as the sublime Joseph Apostol takes on the classic (and a personal favourite) “There is no greater love” as famously featured on the first Amy Winehouse album. Also big up Matt Montenegro for a superb accompaniment on guitar on what was clearly a cold day he played effortlessly and still looked slick!

Looking forward to more goodness from the Get Lifted Crew.

Niceness from the lovely Soulmaze. Had the pleasure of seeing them a couple of times over 2015. A bunch of real quality musicians making some great music as displayed here. The lead vocal is so clear crisp and divine. The band give it room to just float beautifully over the track adding to the classiness of it all.

As always hats off to the Get Lifted team for delivering once again. Great sounds.

More vocal excellence from Raff as he performs for Get Lifted here in the Sunshine. Taking on one of the best tracks from Lianne La Havas latest album “What you don’t do” this is short sweet and simply sublime. Pure quality!

Once again Get Lifted deliver some raw and exceptional talent. Mary Grace Dineen goes in on this acoustic number hitting some lovely falsetto notes, some glorious ad-libbing and even breaking in to singing/rapping/singingreallyfast as well. As I said at the top this is raw but all the potential is clearly there. Have no doubt we will here more from this young lady soon and if not… it’ll be a damn shame… she goooood!
