A lovely simple straight forward commercial number from Yasmin Green. Never has the phrase “You Go To Hell” sounded so nice and that’s all down to this young lady’s vocal performance. I can’t say the production is completely to my liking but this vocal is simply ridiculous. I’ve waxed lyrical before about Yasmin Green but she is THAT good. She really needs to stop keeping us waiting and drop an EP already!

Always have time for this lady when she decides to drop a track. A simply divine vocalist, Yasmin Green despite not necessarily leaving 2nd gear (she sounds like she is cruising through the tune) is sublime and powerful in her vocal delivery. A lovely song with a simple arrangement and production which is just perfect. Enjoy enjoy enjoy!

Any time Yasmin Green decides to post a song i am inevitably forced to post it on Music is Remedy because she is just so damn good! Whether it is a cover or original she always delivers a vocal masterclass and her latest effort is no different. Taking tracks from Jhene Aiko and Chris Brown to form her own mash up of “Drunk Texting” Yasmin and her brother MOXE are as good if not better then any of the current crop of RnB singers around. This is what RnB music should sound like. Brilliant cover.

If she calls this “fun” i would love to hear a serious body of work from Yasmin her attention to quality alongside her supreme vocals would surely make it something many would enjoy. Here’s hoping it comes some time soon!

As this tune starts you think ok this nice, lovely deep dark tone in the female vocal complemented by some lovely marimba type vibes. It’s experimental atmospheric and ultimately dope. It doesn’t stay this way throughout and when Yasmin Green explodes on the track it is just wonderful. 10 seconds (if that) of power, emotion and so much quality that leaves you wanting more.
The first track from her forthcoming “Ink: The Collection” project…. give me note please!

This is gorgeous! Simple subtle acoustic guitar strumming with a just wonderful vocal running over it. Yasmin Green’s voice has a lovely full range and has a unique huskiness to it that endears the sound to your ears even more. I don’t know too much about this lady but the singer songwriters talent is undeniable. Be sure to listen to the end as the guitar changes up real nice. Gorgeous song!
