This was really tough to put together and I missed out a lot of my favourite artists because there is just so much fantastic music out there. What a time to be alive the UK scene is thriving with quality artists and music. There is still undoubtedly work to be done  but when I look back on the decade and see the commercial successes of artists like Lianne La Havas, Tom Misch, Alfamist, Inua Ellams, Little Simz and longtime Remedy favourites Michael Kiwanuka, Shakka, Yomi Sode and of course Ed Sheeran the music scene Music is Remedy supports has grown massively and is in a good place.

Let’s keep pushing things forward:

Proper throwback to that mid 90s sound that gave birth the neo-soul sound. What a have a cup of tea light some incense and vibe tune. I adore the horns obviously soft subtle and complimenting the tune wonderfully. Whilst Ella sounds every part the quality vocalist she is. Her EP shows how much she can bring to the game and I hope the reaction to it which by all accounts seems to have been very positive will see her dropping more music. She has a lot to offer the scene and I think more and more people will fall in love with her sound.

This performance from Ella Frank at I Luv Live shows all of the potential that she possess. As a relaxed as she seems on stage she really goes in on this working with the band to create a live RnB, Nu Soul sound. The jazz scating that she drops towards the end makes it even better. Ella Frank is very much a stellar prospect.

My timelines have been buzzing about this track when it dropped on the weekend and rightfully so. The First single from east London’s Ella Frank is a jazzy Soulful sound with a distinctly London feel that comes from Ella’s smooth sultry vocal. JayPrince’s production also gives it a modern feel as much as it is reminiscent of the 90′s neo soul sound.

Wicked tune can’t wait to hear what the rest of the project has instore!
