What are these guys playing at aye. Teasing everyone with some incredible sounds as all their fans continue to wait for the new  14th project to drop. Taking on this noughties RnB classic they murder (in a good way) the tune making it their own. Pure slick alt goodness.

YESSSSS NEW MUSIC from the 14th. Its been a long time coming with the duo now becoming a trio with the addition cellist/engineer/producer Jack to the crew. The new track as usual with these guys is pretty genreless but nonetheless full of quality. Tracey’s signature vocal is as good as ever laid over electronic beats and a range of soft atmospheric synth sounds. So glad to have these guys back!!!

The 14th were invited down to a warehouse in East London to film a feature with The Beatnik sessions. There’s an acoustic performance of one of their two step killers “Take Me There” and they have a quick chat with the camera. Really liking the stripped down sound with Tracy sounding absolutely immense can’t wait to see what these guys have planned for 2012!

Tawiah Run Remix

More from the 14th this is for all the Garage Heads. Taking the accapella from Tawiah’s recent free download “RUN” The 14th have sprinkled their fairy dust over it and made it their own really is very dope. Like i said for all the 2 step heads out there ENJOY.

Last night I rolled down to The Hoxton Bar & Kitchen to checkout The 14th who were celebrating the launch of their EP.
This was the first time I’d seen Tracey and Tom in action since they debuted their sound last summer. Since they had dropped a dope video and amassed a range of quality reviews from the press and a strong following. I was interested to see their growth… Disappointed I was not.
Tracey was electric on stage. Her presence on stage was immense you couldn’t take your eyes off her. Even those not too sure about the sound were drawn in. As for the beats well Tom has successfully taken the sound of noughties garage and made it into their own. The production made me feel like I was taken back in time (and different era) and couldn’t help but skank like I was in a rave 10 years ago!
Its a very impressive package and one you are gonna be hearing a lot more of trust me get your hands on the EP NOW!

Little bit behind on this one but just in case you haven’t seen it here is the first video from one of the dopest new acts around. This track is a combo of awesome production reminiscent of the classic Garage sounds of the 90s but on another level and Tracey’s insanely haunting vocals full of character and colour. Visuals are also next level! Look out for plenty more form these guys!
