Last month the good people at Lyrix Organix launched their first compilation EP. Its features a vast range of different artists who have performed at their events over the last couple of years and acts as good taster as to what to expect from one of their events. The album is filled with lots of caribbean and African rhythms as well as some more soulful numbers and a couple of spoken word gems. Highlights would of course be G.R.E.E.d.S and The Remedies “We Are” and Dean Atta’s “Revolution” whilst the standout tracks for me would have to be Ayanna Witter-Johnson’s “Sometimes” and Ayah Marar’s “Dandelion Tea”. This is not available on download just physical CD it is however just £5 and a solid investment with all proceeds going to various charities. There is something for everyone here and as i said some real gems have a listen below and follow the links to purchase!
