Probably the freshest producer to come up on my radar this year Rom comes up with an awesome piece of work built around a soulful samba essence and samples which he then fills with his fresh forward thinking beats and synths9 that force you to get lost in the beat. This guy is gonna be massive!

Louise Golbey was invited to perform at South London’s aptly named jazz venue Hideaway and here is a visual captured on the night. What is clear is just how much control Louise has over her vocal to give a flawless performance with emotion and character. Lousie is on one of the hardest workers in the game and consistently delivers. If you don’t know get to know class act!

Her album Novel is available here.

Tom Misch drops another track from his forthcoming EP and it is another gem of a track. “I Wish” gives you peaceful relaxed guitar grooves taking you to bliss. Such a dope tune his rise continues and continues.

I’ve been meaning to check this out for a while now and i’m glad I finally did. This is an awesome slice of polished RnB Pop from Kacey Chambers. “Let it go” gives you everything you need from good pop a killer sing along hook, gets your head bopping and your feet tapping and leaves you feeling good. This is the first track to be taken from her forthcoming EP “Through These Eyes” which if this is anything to go by will be really strong!

This fills me with happiness and smiles seeing this brother work the BBC cameras at Glastonbury with this absolute anthem of a track put feel good factor! Real good soul vibes from Jodie Abacus enjoy!

I wasn’t too sure about this at first but as the track developed it grew on me more and more until my head started going and I had a big smile on my face. “You Gon Learn” produced by Jay Jay Musicka is Emily Grace telling you to over come your fears and succeed! The scatting on the middle 8 is immense and probably what finally sold me on the track. This is dope!

I could listen to this kinda ish all day. Fresh gorgeous vibes that sounds young raw inovotive and full of goodness. Great to hear the sounds of Hyla again these guys are real special. Can’t really describe what they do. It reminds me of Zero 7 but fresher and more interesting they really play around with tempos structures and sounds. These guys are DOPE get to know!

New music from my favourite male vocalist from day Raff gives us this Jamiroquai funk inspired beauty of a track. With my boys The Remedies on the track the musicianship is next level with some amazing runs and chord choices. Feel good music on a grim summers morning.

Catch these guys live on Friday night at The Primo Bar details here.
