Tuesday night Kwabs took to the Jools Holland TV set for a performance that as was expected was superb. Backed by the full band he performs the title track from his first EP “Wrong or Right” and just sounds amazing! I still struggle to get over just how great and unique his voice is. Love that good authentic music is getting the platform to shine!

Watch the full show tonight on BBC 2 and if you haven’t already download his 2 EP’s here.

Debra Debs was one of the feature acts at Deja Vu’s We Play Music Live event at the Jazz Cafe. She put on (judging by these videos) one hell of a set. The band are off the chain with some lovely breaks, dope solos (props to circuit favourite Marfro on the goodtuar) killer harmonies and a delicisous saxophone free styling through all the songs adding that icing for the cake. Debra Debs was flawless and pulled it altogether with a powerful vocal performance. Wonderful soul music… ain’t nothing better!

To see more of the set head over to Deja Vu’s youtube channel here.

This lady continues to go from strength to strength. Ego Ella May combines forces with Mini D to create MDMay and their first work is this ridiculous reworking of the Common and Mary J Blige’s “Come Close”. As always with Ego she pushes the boundaries of Soul music creating her own sound and niche. Its inspiring watching her shine. If you like it you can download the track now.

See this live at Ego Ella May’s headline show. Tickets available here.

Possibly one of the best videos i have seen in sometime. Well shot great use of effects and the dope concept behind it all. In the backdrop bringing it altogether is a strong track from Ruinz Ason. The production is quality with a strong catchy chorus. Its not perfect but there are plenty of reasons that if he isn’t already Ruinz Ason should be on your radar.

One of the standout performers from our Streetfest 2014 Experience. Charlotte Brimner drops this little fun happy singalong tune. The song picks up nicely adding percussion, some kinda Banjo Steel guitar along with some bass and Charlotte’s vocal tie-ing it altogether. Wicked tune an artist you should be keeping your eye on.

Ready for a wonderful vocal performance from one of the UK’s brightest new talents Raheem Bakare. This is simply superb. I’ll let the music do the talking just click play.

Big up Matti Roots on Keys and The Reload Session team for always bringing the quality.

Been mean to post these interviews for a little while now. Amaru Don (who’s interview series is becoming essential viewing subscribe here) sat down with Kwabs to talk to him about his journey and the writing process for one of the strongest artists breaking through in 2014. Hearing him speak makes him for me an even more endearing character in the sometimes fickle world of the music industry.

There are two further videos where he talks about his tracks “Brother” and the first track we posted on Kwabs last year “Perfect Ruin” watch back here.

If you haven’t already the EP is available now download now.

Enrico Delves has been part of the Music is Remedy family for a long time now and we have always loved his incredible vocal ability. He’s back with new music in 2014 and once again it is all about his voice. He sounds as good as any of the current crop of RnB singers out there. Looking forward to hearing more new material from Mr Delves and that voice of his!

I don’t know too many people who get a session with top UK mag Wonderland but Cynikal isn’t just anyone now is he? With the help of Jamie Graham he takes on an all time classic in Mo Money Mo Problems and giving it his own twist. Yep your right to raise your eyebrows this ain’t an easy one to take on however Cynikal focuses on putting his own twist on it and actually makes it work. The acoustic guitar is adds to the uniqueness of it taking it away from the Original. Like i said i’m feeling it but you tell me.

Catch Cynikal performing a keys and vocals set at Remedy Open next Thursday @ Juno Bar Shoreditch for FREE!
