The spoken word scene is alive right about with events happening every week and new poets and wordsmiths emerging at each event. Now one of the best in the game Natalie Fiawoo has put together her own event with the aim of providing a safe home for poets to be themselves [...] The Spoken Word/Poetry scene is on fire in London town. Long running events like One Taste and Poetry & Motion and Lyrical geniuses like David J and Polar Bear have helped a scene evolve and grow. Nurturing new wordsmiths, inspiring new events into life and allowing the genre to mix and play with [...] After the massive success of The 2nd Birthday Party @ Cargo back in May the team return to the lovely surroundings of The Juno Bar for more of what these guys do best song, rhyme and visuals. On the night capture visuals from Zanya Daze and performances from Kadija Kamara, Holly McNish, Phresh [...] All year long The Poejazzi team have spent 2010 hosting a range of amazing events all over London showing off the wealth of wonderful spoken word geniuses that can found all over the UK. Rammed out shows at The Roundhouse, Days of Decadence and The Royal Festival Hallto name a few have helped strengthen their [...] Yes our return to the live scene is just 2 WEEKS AWAY!!! Excitement is growing in the Remedy Camp! Rehearsals are well under way and we have one hell of a show lined up!!! Just to remeind you headlining on the night with a full band for the FIRST time will be Ed Sheeran! History [...] Browsing YouTube i found this footage taken from April’s grand Writers Block night @ Cargo of Kersha Bailey’s performance alongside the Remedies. Such a gorgeous song. And what a performance from Kersha those adlibs at the end were ridiculous!!!! Blessed to have shared the stage and been a part of that performance it was a wonderful [...] One Taste are a collective we supported since it started many a moon ago, in fact they are part of the reason Remedy came into existence and enjoyed success. They are awesome team of people who promote amazing artists and love what they do!
